This photo demonstrates how a functional garden shed and a garden screen can merge into an aesthetic statement in a modern garden. Attention is immediately drawn to the sleek, minimalist volume of the shed, fully clad in vertically aligned, deep black timber that lends the structure a modern yet timeless look.

To create sense of unity, the same material was intentionally continued into the adjacent screen. Following the clean lines of the shed, the black wooden screen elegantly disguises an existing boundary wall that would otherwise be a distracting element, creating a calm, uniform backdrop that framing the terrace.

The deep black tone of the wood contrasts beautifully with the warm red pavers of the path and patio. Lush, natural plantings soften the strong architectural lines, bringing a harmonious balance to the space.
